ETLT 2027: education conference in Bangkok and online

Present your education research in Bangkok or live online on 23–24 July 2027, with an abstract of up to 300 words. The early round closes 31 March 2027.

ETLT 2027 is a two-day international education conference in Bangkok, Thailand, and online, on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 July 2027. The International Conference on Education, Teaching, Learning & Technology meets at Ambassador Hotel Bangkok, and it is hybrid: you can present in Bangkok or live online from wherever you are.

ETLT is for university faculty, teacher educators, postgraduate researchers and PhD scholars who study how people teach and learn, from early childhood to higher education. You present with an abstract of up to 300 words; no full paper is needed.

Conference themes

  • Curriculum, pedagogy and instructional design
  • Educational technology and digital learning
  • Artificial intelligence in education
  • Teaching and learning in higher education
  • Assessment, evaluation and feedback
  • Teacher education and professional development
  • Inclusive and special education
  • Educational leadership, policy and management
  • Early childhood and primary education
  • STEM and STEAM education
  • Online, blended and open learning
  • Educational psychology and learner wellbeing

If your work spans two themes, choose the main one; the committee can move it.

Present in Bangkok or online

  • Oral, in Bangkok: a 10-minute talk with questions, in a themed session.
  • Poster, in Bangkok: displayed on both days, with a chaired poster session.
  • Online, from anywhere: a live 10-minute talk in an online session, with questions.

Online sessions run in Bangkok time (UTC+7). The Friday session is timed for East and Southeast Asia, and the Saturday session for Europe, Africa and the Gulf. Online presenters do a short technical check before the conference and send a pre-recorded video as a backup. They get the same review, the same DOI and the same certificate as those presenting in person. See our tips for presenting online at a hybrid conference.

Preparing your abstract

Abstracts are up to 300 words, in English, and structured as purpose, methods, findings and implications; conceptual and practice papers set out the aim, the argument or approach, and the implications. Studies with human participants should have ethics approval or consent where required. The full guidelines are on the call for abstracts page. New to this?
